The serial number for the RM5 bird definitive stamp has reached 1/2012. If you pay attention to the format of serial number, you may notice that the format for the latest serial number on the RM5 bird definitive has been changed. The old format is written as year by number (such as 2007/1, 2010/2 etc.), and the new format is written as number by year (such as 1/2012). It is not sure if this new format of serial number would be applied on all other definitive stamps (fruit, bird and garden flower). You may click here to see those previous serial numbers for the RM5 bird definitive.

The stamps of Malaysian salad were released on 25 July 2013. The stamps were printed by Percetakan Keselamatan National, and they were printed on SPM watermarked paper (side way watermark). The stamp composition in a stamp sheet is unique - two stamps are positioned upright and the two stamps are positioned inverted - forming a plate shape composition. Therefore, each of the four stamps will have two types of watermark - SPM sideway up and SPM sideway down.
The Coral stamps were issued on 28 June 2013, and they were printed by Southern Colour (New Zealand). The stamp sheets come in different plate numbers - 1A, 1B and 1C. If you are into plate numbers, this stamp issue renders you a small excitement.
