Pos Malaysia released a set of five stamps on 27 Sept 2012 on topic of festivals. Five festivals are being depicted in the stamps - Hari Raya Aidiladha, Moon Cake Festival, Thaipusam, Kaul Festival and Regatta Lepa. All the stamps have denomination 60 sen. These stamps have hot stamping feature. Fluorescent mark is also employed in these stamps as security measure. The fluorescent mark is a bar/strip occurring at the bottom part of the stamps covering the words Malaysia and 60 sen.

2012 - Indonesia 2012 Overprints
These are the dragon MS overprints for Indonesia 2012 held on 18-24 June 2012 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
2012 - Installation of Agong
Pos Malaysia released a set of three stamps and a miniature sheet on 11 April 2012 to commemorate the installation of XIV Agong.
Initially, a special sheetlet containing the newly installed Agong and the previous Agongs had planned to be released on the same date as the above stamp sets and miniature sheet. However, the release of this special sheetlet was delayed for some unavoidable circumstances. This special sheetlet was only released in much later date on 21 June 2012. This special sheetlet comes with a nice folder sold at a premium price of RM30.
