This single stamp was issued on 16 September 2024 to commemorate Malaysia Day 2024. The stamp was sold national wide at post offices on 17 September 2024 because 16 September 2024 was a public holiday. However, Pos Malaysia had a temporary booth at MAHA 2024 Expo at MAEPS Serdang which operated on 16 September 2024. The stamp was available at the Expo on 16 September 2024. The stamp was designed by loka made.
One unique thing about the stamp is the use of fluorescent security mark for the stamp. The fluorescent mark may be viewed under uv light. Four types of fluorescent marks were employed on the stamps (see images below). Therefore, for serious collectors four different stamps are applied here due to the four different patterns of fluorescent marks.
