Apart from stamp/packet collecting, I am also into photographing/studying dragonflies and damselflies. The dragonflies and damselflies are known as Odonata in scientific term. In Malaysia, dragonflies and damselflies are called pepatung and pepatung jarum respectively. They also come in various local names, such as Puting Beliung or Ttuyuh (in Kelantan and Terengganu), Cakcibor (in Perak), Sesibu and Sibu-sibu or Sibur (in Pahang/Johor). More than 420 species are known to occur in Malaysia with Peninsular Malaysia containing more than 240 species. I have a blog showing many photos of dragonflies and damselflies.
