I was totally shocked to learn the closure of Kajang Post Office starting from 25 February 2026. I was at the post office to purchase the new commemorative horse stamps on 24 February 2026 in the morning. I witnessed some audit personnel (internal audit) inspecting the post office on 24 February 2026 in the morning. According the post office staff, the notice of post office closure was sent out in the evening on 24 February 2026 due to the occupational safety and health of the building. The closure was implemented immediately starting on the next day (25 February 2026). It is not sure if the closure is temporary or permanent. Kajang Post Office has an philately bureau, and it is an important part in my philatelic pursue. I feel sad on the sudden event.
