Machine Cancellation - Ipoh

Below are the recent machine cancellations from Ipoh, Perak. It looks like three machines are currently used in stamping the mail from Ipoh and the surrounding areas.

2008 - Royal Headgears

Pos Malaysia released a set of ten stamps on 16 September, 2008 on topic of royal headgears. The stamps were issued in the format of sheetlet. The headgears of eight Malay Rulers (except Johor) and the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (the King) were depicted in the stamps.

Postage Due 1986 - Flaw

The 50c postage due stamp showing below is one of the five postage due stamps issued on 15 September, 1986 (http://kajang-stamps.blogspot.com/2008/09/postage-due-1986.html). A minor flaw has been recorded on this 50c postage due stamps. The flaw (ring shape) occurs at the bottom of the "0".

Postage Due 1986

Malaysia postal authority issued a set of postage due stamps (five different denominations) on 15 September, 1986. These postage due stamps are still in use until now. All the postage due stamps were intially printed without watermark. Later on, however, the 10c and 20c reprints were printed with SPM-watermark (http://kajang-stamps.blogspot.com/2008/04/postage-due-plate-numbers.html).
