I am delighted to receive an aerogramme from a small country - Jersey. The aerogramme was sent on May 21, 2010.

Mel Rakyat - Colour Shift

The Mel Rakyat released on April 26, 2010 has a pre-printed 30-sen stamp of logo image of 1-Malaysia. Colour shift has been record for the printing of Mel Rakyat. It looks like the blue and red colours were either shift left or right. Check your Mel Rakyat to see if you have also possessed the colour-shift copies!

Mel Rakyat

Pos Malaysia released a domestic aerogramme called Mel Rakyat on April 26, 2010. However, the Mel Rakyat was launched (not sold) on April 22, 2010 at Kuala Kubu Baru. The Mel Rakyat was on sale only at GPOs on the day of release. However, the sale of Mel Rakyat at post offices throughout the country will only start on May 3, 2010. It was a very good thought of kkkhor to send me this Mel Rakyat from Ipoh on the day of release (April 26, 2010).

Domail 1994

Pos Malaysia on February 8, 1994 issued a postal stationery called Domail (abbreviation of Domestic Lettermail). The Domail looks like an aerogramme but it was for local/domestic sending. The Domail contains a 30c pre-printed stamp, but it was sold at a price of 40c.

The below aerogramme was sent on May 17, 2009 from a temporary post office erected during the 23rd Asian International Stamp Exhibition in Hong Kong (May 14-17, 2009).

Malaysia - Aerogramme

This aerogramme was sent from Sg Siput to an address in the United Kingdom on November 19, 1997. The pictorial aerogramme shows the rich biological diversity of Endau-Rompin Park, Malaysia. Species of fungus (Cookeina tricholoma), fern (Selaginella willdenovii) and flowering plant (Spathoglottis aurea) are shown on the front of the aerogramme. On the other hand, the printed stamp on the aerogramme depicts a chamelon Calotes cristatellus.

Malaysia - Aerogramme

This aerogramme was sent from Sg Siput to an address in the United Kingdom on November 6, 1998. The pictorial aerogramme was released to commemorate Malaysia as the host country for XVI Commonwealth Games 1998. The printed stamp on the aerogramme depicts the Malawati Stadium in Shah Alam, Selangor.
