Zoodic ATMs from Hong Kong
Hong Kong is one of the many countries producing beautiful ATMs. In 1987, Hong Kong postal authority released ATMs with zoodic motif. Year 1987 is the Year of Rabbit. Subsequently, zoodic ATMs were released every year until 1998 - altogether 12 years marking the complete of one cycle of lunar zoodic calender. It was learnt that two ATM machines were used to print these ATMs. Therefore, the ATM labels were marked with 01 and 02.

ATM of Malaysia
Many countries have been issuing ATMs or frama labels for the convenience of the customers in buying postage stamps to post a mail. However, Pos Malaysia does not seem to follow the trend in issuing frama labels. Nevertheless, Malaysia first and only one frama label was issued on 25 May 1987. The label paper was inscribed with Malaysian Postal Authority logo at that time (currently Malaysian Postal Authority, known as Pos Malaysia, has different logo).
The above frama labels were printed with values 15 sen, 20 sen and 40 sen. There is a printed hibiscus flower at the left bottom corner of the labels. The mechine used in printing the labels was WP001.

Hornbills of Malaysia
Hornbills are large beautiful birds taxonomically placed in the family Bucerotidae. They normally nest in hollow of tree trunk. In Malaysia, ten hornbill species have been recorded, i.e. rhinoceros hornbill (Buceros rhinoceros), helmeted hornbill (Rhinoplax vigil), great hornbill (Buceros bicornis), white-crowned hornbill (Aceros comatus), wrinkled hornbill (Aceros corrugatus), black hornbill (Anthracoceros malayanus), plain-pouched hornbill (Aceros subruficollis), oriental pied hornbill (Anthracoceros albirostris), bushy-crested hornbill (Anorrhinus galeritis) and wreathed hornbill (Aceros undulates). Pos Malaysia issued stamps with hornbill images on a few occasions. Among the ten hornbill species, rhinoceros hornbill is the most popular hornbill species depicted in Malaysian stamps. The other hornbill species which have been depicted in Malaysian stamps are great hornbill, helmeted hornbill, wrinkled hornbill and white-crowned hornbill.

An Interesting Error on Bird Defintive Stamp
Finding error stamps from post offices is a difficult task for odinary collectors. Most of the time the major error stamps fall on the hands of dealers. I do not know what do say as I had a luck to obtain a major error stamp block from one post office. The original stamp is one of the definitive bird stamps released in 2005, but the stamp involves is the reprint. The error shows misplace of the perforation due to folding of right top corner of the stamp sheet (one sheet contains 100 stamps). Only one stamp sheet had this problem and the other sheets from the same stack were fine.
