Lighthouses - Series I

In the middle of anticipating the coming issue of Lighthouses Series II, let us refresh back the stamps of Lighthouses Series I released in 2004. To be honest, the lighthouse stamps from the Series I are quite attractive, and I might have to say they are as attractive as those of Series II.

You may pay attention to one of the lighthouse stamps from the Series I - One Fathom Bank Lighthouse, Selangor. The lighthouse structure shown in this stamps is the old structure of One Fathom Bank Lighthouse. Actually, a new lighthouse structure was built adjacent to the old structure. Interestingly, the new structure of One Fathom Bank Lighthouse will be portrayed in the miniature sheet (with special effect) of the coming issue Lighthouse Series II.
