2014 - Terengganu Stamp Fair

One of the surprises in the World Youth Stamp Exhibition (1-6 December 2014) was the release of the below miniature sheets (perforated and imperforated). Many serious stamp collectors were taken aback by the presence of these miniature sheets on 5 December 2014 at the Pos Malaysia booth in the World Youth Stamp Exhibition.

Actually these miniature sheets were printed in conjunction with the Terengganu stamp fair in 2013. However, the miniature sheets were not released during the Terengganu stamp fair. Pos Malaysia decided to release these miniature sheets (after more than a year) during the World Youth Stamp Exhibition.

I must stress that the printing quantity of these miniature sheets is normal as those of many miniature sheets issued by Pos Malaysia. Therefore, these miniature sheets are NOT rare. There is no point of stamp collectors rushing to buy these miniature sheets at VERY expensive price from stamp dealers (I saw one stamp dealer selling these miniature sheet pair at RM20... a bit too expensive). I believe that these miniature sheets would be available at GPO KL later at FACE VALUE.
