International Registration Label

Pos Malaysia revised its tariff for its international mail on 15 May 2013. One of the categories being revised was the registration fee for international mail. The international registration fee has been increased from RM4.10 to RM4.60. The old international registration label printed with a tag price of RM4.10 is still plenty in stock. As usual, Pos Malaysia masked the RM4.10 tag price in the registration label with a small sticker printed with word “RM4.60”. So, during this transitional period, the old registration label with RM4.60 sticker will be used until the old stock depleted before being replenished by new stock with RM4.60 tag price printed directly on the registration label. This practice was also adopted in the previous tariff revision for registration fees (domestic and international) in 2007.
