Stamp Sheet

Generally the stamp sheets (commemorative issues) currently produced by Pos Malaysia are in format of 20-stamp. Of course, in some occasions Pos Malaysia does issue stamp sheets in other formats such as 8-stamp, 10-stamp etc. I noted that Thai Post has adopted the 10-stamp sheet format for its commemorative stamps. I think Thai Post is moving to the correct direction to increase its sale stamps. I believe that collectors tend to buy more if the stamps are issued in the format of 10-stamp. On the other hand, it is most likely that more and more collectors would resort to buying/collecting stamp sheets if stamps are issued in the format of 10-stamp. One thing for sure, 10-stamp sheet is easy to keep (of course cheaper) compared to 20-stamp sheet - good for collectors. :)

If Pos Malaysia want to maximize its sale on stamps, one of the approaches that could be taken is to issue stamps in the format of 10-stamp. Thai Post has done it.... Pos Malaysia, what are you waiting for??
